Crow's
« on: May 16, 2011, 10:24:39 AM »
Has anyone else noticed the quality in the food at Crow's has gotten bad.  We ate there about a 2 months ago and the catfish was under cooked (still cold) and the steak looked like something from Denny's.  We went back on Fri and tried the BBQ plate the meat was fatty, and greasy  you could only eat about a third of it.  I am not sure if they have a new owner, but I sure wish they would go back to cooking good food.

I've been there 5 or 6 times since it opened - over that time, the quality has been hit or miss.

Last time I was there was probably 6 or 8 weeks ago - it was very good then.

I was there for the brunch yesterday and was very satisfied. I had a omelet, salad and fresh fruit.
All was good in Crow Country.

I am really hoping that it was just bad luck on my part.  I am tired of Italian and do not like the drive to Mckinney.

In the 80s I lived in St Louis Park, MN. There was a smorgasbord (lots of swedes and nords there) named Kings Inn. We used to joke "food fit for a king, here King, good dog"

Bad food and plenty of it.

Do they serve crow at Crows?

If they have a camera, I'd ask them to take a shot of my ass, cause they ain't gonna see it again.

Used to be one in Garland on LBJ too.  Not a lot of swedes or nords there, but quite a few nerds and rednecks.

Mom On The Green in Gunter, just outside Van Alstyne. It's got Crows beat, hands down. Yum
