YUM!  In McKinney, just E of 75 on El Dorado, north side of the street.  They were heavenly!!!  Real lamb meat and tzatziki sauce in pita bread.

I think we saw a sign for them yesterday.  Did it say "gyros and cheese steaks"?

Daisy,

You got it!  I talked to the owner yesterday who told me he took over the store from a cheesesteak chain after he moved to McKinney in 2005 from California.  He decided to give up the chain afflication so that he could change up the menu and add a few things.  As well as the gyros, they also offer kids' meals.  My kids had the chicken fingers and were in Heaven.

In my country, they are called shwarma and many believe it is what fell from the heavens when Moses wandered in the desert for 40-years before finding the Promised Land, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I should have died eating shwarma's.  You guys had that garlic yogurt sauce out in the sun all day with ZERO refrigeration.  Of course I should have also died eating street-vendor food in Korea, so I don't blame you personally.
