Jim, you're a dick.  That post you quoted was from March 2009.  Just after 9/11 happened.  Can't we concentrate on what is important in our lives?

Thanks. I take that as a compliment. Just got back on here and the post bothered me. If my opinion is not liked by everyone tough s--t. I'm still going to voice it. If my post offended you then maybe you are part of the problem that I was addressing.

We loved the IV in Allen when we lived there and are glad they're here in Anna. They also have some affiliation (I think through family members-cousins?) with Sicily's in McKinney on 380. Also a great Italian place (BYB). We did take out recently at IV in Anna and it was superb. I had the Tort Alfredo and my wife had Eggplant Parm. Wonderful! Wife went to pick it up and said the dining room looked nice and they have a wine list, so we'll eat there once in a while. I want to try the Philly Cheese steak since I lived in Philadelphia in the 80's and really miss a good C-Steak.

If 'part of the problem' is me being a paying customer that tried MULTIPLE times to get good food there that wasn't covered in grease... then sure I am part of the problem.  Although I do agree it is cool the manager popped on here to say some things, we don't know what happened in that situation.  The OP has a good point, who wants to keep returning pizza after pizza only to end up having to get food somewhere else?  I have heard great things about the pizza at I.V. - but just like Crow's, it really depends on who is cooking that day.  It could be the best ever, or it could be so bad the wait staff should have warned you.

If you want  a discount for Italian Villa you can go to Restaurants.com, they sell gift cert. for a fraction of the price, an example would be to pay 8-10 for a 25 off of 35 certificate.

I dont pay full price for anything!

The chicken murphy is awesome!!  Get some alfredo sauce to dip the bread in, super yummolicious!!  Ranch could use some improvement though;)

I have no complaints about the restaurant.  If you dont like it, do go... this isn't rocket science.  Stop humiliating our restaurant owners here.. remember, we dont have that many places to eat here...

I usually take it as a Public Service Announcement when I see a lot of complaints.  I would rather take the advice and go spend my money at one of the fine Anna establishments that deserve it.  :D  Some of them have even seen the complaints on here, responded, and turned themselves into fine little places to eat.  Shocking, I know!
