How the mighty have fallen!! LOL! Talk about payback
I to was a weekly customer back in the day. I started to notice that their food was becoming more and more generic and tasteless. So we started to go every two weeks to once a month. The straw that broke the camels back
was when I used to work out next door back in 2009. the owner there always had a lot of guys hanging around (family). I was walking in to the gym and I accidently dropped my keys. talk about rude and disrespectful. They started calling me all sorts of bad words and laughing about it. The owner (the lady that got the cancer) was at the door and witnessed it. Needless to say, I ran back to my car and drove back home. My husband came back with me and we were ready to whoop some ass! I came in and asked if she could please be my witness that i was being harassed by the guys sitting at the table in the corner. She looked me straight in the eyes and said no. that whatever happened was probably my fault and I asked for it . I told her that she was standing at the entrance/exit with the door open and saw what happened. She said no she didnt and if she didso what. She told me to leave that I was not a paying customer. They guys were laughing at me and calling me all sorts of names in Spanish. They were calling her Aunt. So they were family!! I speak and understand perfect spanish. So I responded in Spanish that I see how this game will be played between all of us. That karma was a bitch and payback was right around the corner. I said that the only reason those guys were still sitting at their table having a good time was because my husband was off duty at the time and would get in huge trouble for whooping their ass. I told her that her business was going to hell for serving nasty food and for being a bitch!
Thats how I cut ties with My Estrella.
Fast forward to now. Seems she has or had cancer....can't say I feel sorry for her....Nope I dont.
I saw her a Sam's club buying huge cans of beans, frozen enchiladas, other frozen "Mexican" food, and canned cheese. Now tell me folks...is that authentic?!
All I got to say is I'm shocked they lasted this long. Crappy attitudes and now from what I hear crappy food!
