Snap Fitness opening
« on: October 08, 2007, 02:56:18 PM »
Snap fitness should be having their Grand Opening today.  It's located 2 doors down from the donut shop, across from the Dollar General in that set of shops.  Markus Gabor is a very talkative, nice gentleman, so say hi when you sign up.

Oh I count calories.  I counted something like 8200 Friday alone.  I was amazing!

Fact:  You have to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound of fat!  That's so discouraging  :(

When you sign up, you get an electronic key card that you can use to open the door 24/7.  They are trying to staff it 40 - 50 hours a week during regular daytime hours, and they have a security and safety monitoring system installed for after hours work.  It's kinda neat, they've got three of those "I've fallen and I can't get up!" buttons to borrow while you work out that calls security.  Plus, they've got brand new Cybex equipment, some of which has ratcheting locks that help protect against being trapped or hurt.

Okay.....I must be a penny pincher or something but that pricing seems outrageous to me  :o  I can not imagine paying that much to go to that little tiny gym!  I guess I am just cheap!  :-\

I thought places which were staffed and had classes and things were half as much.  This is just unattended equipment, right?  Nice.

We asked daddy about this but GCEC is a coop.  Verses a distribution and supplier.  We don't no what in the hell all that crap means.  Daddy is pretty smart he has ran a wire around our meter so our electricity is free.
