I had a cheeseburger and some onion rings from there today. I will save my judgment for later though. I need to evaluate some more of their food before I make up my mind if I like it or not.

I hear that the Chilie Cheese Burrito is excellent.  I know they have the best fountain drinks in town.  Sonic drinks taste like Lake Lavon  :-\

Their fried shrimp is pretty good too.  As for Sonic, they make a pretty good burger, but their drinks are the issue we have.  They syrup and soda mixture is off....

I think the next time I eat here I am going to get the Texas Toothpicks and a B.L.T... I love bacon. I love B.L.T'S even more.

We picked up lunch from there today and I'm not sure if we caught them on a bad day or what but the food for the most part was really awful.

My husband and I both ordered the chicken fried steak basket, and the steak was so overcooked there was no moisture left, and it had way to much salt.  The fries tasted as if they had been cooked earlier and reheated, but the toast was good.  My daughter ordered a burger and she said that was pretty good but that the chocolate shake was "unremarkable" in her words.

Also, the diet dr pepper I ordered just didn't taste right.  Next time I'm going to try the shrimp or a burger and see if its better.

We have eaten there several times.  One time the order got mixed up.  They gave us a separate order to take home with us that was  correct and did not charge us for the second order.  We had the burgers and fries and they were good and tasted fresh.

Several things to know about the Malt Shop. 1) They are very charitable to this community and helped out A Lot with our Charity Event in West Crossing. 2) They have the best all around  ;D ;Dfood in Anna.... Period. That may change as Anna grows. 3) The staff is outstanding, friendly and after you are there a few times they know you and always have nice things to say. If you have not tried them give them a shot as I have since the ownership changed a few months ago.

I like to eat.

I am so glad that you kept it that generic because much more info, and there are several that would have had to make comments :) LOL
