Edmunds.com shows "invoice price" at $28,132 --- but that is not the true invoice price. Edmunds & Consumer Reports have to shoot high on what they list in order to keep all the advertising dollars thrown at them by the auto makers. Toyota is at the top of the heap (with the exception of #1 VW), and there may only be another $1000 wiggle room under Edmunds' invoice figure. Where you will need to do major negotiations is on those options you want. They will charge you 3X the going rate for things like splash guards, wheel locks, and their newest high priced fluff is NITROGEN in the tires. Gimme a call when you are ready to start looking. And thanks for your interest!

Looking to put a HUGE red bow on a present this year to a loved one?
Or slip a new set of keys into their stocking?

Don't get pushed around at the dealerships.
Let me do the research and legwork for you, and we can make that surprise gift happen.

Hey, Everyone!

Drop me a line if you are in the market for a new car. I specialize in negotiating car deals to save you THOUSANDS. Did you know that some auto manufacturers offer thousands of dollars in incentives to dealers that they, of course, never tell the customer about. I watch reports out of Washington DC to find out who is getting these incentives (over and above their normal holdback). Honda, for one, NEVER advertises customer rebates, but that does NOT mean that the money is not there. Contact me anytime.

Just an update:

My newest negotiation is going wonderfully! I've gotten several bids for a new 2010 Honda Odyssey, and SO FAR - I have them down almost $6500 from MSRP (on a model that is not being rebated at all.) I do not deal down from MSRP, but I'm giving this as an example. This savings equates to the purchase running at about $100 below factory invoice (not the made-up "dealer" invoice). They will still make most of their holdback and get closer to their quarterly bonus numbers. Honda has an intricate tiered system for dealer bonuses, so a cold, rainy, short month like February can equal big savings. Gimme a ring if I may be of service the next time you want to buy a new car!

Oh, it's not broken. I'm just still working on getting that up. I'm a much better negotiator than I am a website architect. I've been doing this as a hobby for over 10 years, but this is the first time I've marketed myself. It's all been word of mouth 'til now. As soon as the website is up, I'll be sure to post.

Looking for a new pickup truck? Ford F150s and Chevy Silverados have up to $4000 cashback incentives right now, depending on if you buy a 2009 or 2010. Ford Super Duty (2010 model) has a $4500 cashback incentive.

February is a great month to negotiate for a new vehicle. It is a short month, and the weather has kept customers from coming into the dealerships.

Don't wait until March, if you are looking for a family vehicle. Spring Break is when everyone seems to go family automobile hunting, so the dealers jack up the prices and won't budge!

Honda also has some models with "Factory-to-Dealer" cash that they don't have to tell you about. Call or email me for details!

Our new 2010 Odyssey is home! I negotiated a $5,193 savings, & we still got more "bells & whistles" then I'd originally wanted. We paid off our 2006 model, the TT&L and a small downpayment... and we will be getting a nice check within 2 weeks for the remainder of our trade value. It sure is nice to come away from a dealership when they're having to give YOU money!

I love how I caught them trying to sneak $400 back into the selling price while we were in the finance manager's office. ALWAYS double-check their figures!

Congratulations.  She's a beauty.  I'm especially envious of her dark windows.  "Oooooooh."  "Aaaaaaaaah."

Thanks, E. I still love how our cars now have a cool color scheme going on! Now to just get the neighbors on the opposite side to trade in their vehicles to match ours.

These things are really becoming popular... my best friend got one 2 yrs ago, neighbor got one last year (both light blue), and I'm seeing them everywhere!  I'll never be able to let the pride go and actually drive one, but I don't mind riding in one, though!  They are super nice inside.

I was the same way until we got the 2006 model. It is like a Mommy Limo or something. I mean, I have navigation, DVD, heated seats, hands-free bluetooth link, back-up camera, power lift-gate and the gas mileage is great! I love going on trips and being able to find anything we need just by pushing the "talk" button and saying, for example, "Find nearest Japanese restaurant." The only thing I think I'd add to it to make it "perfect" would be a service like OnStar.

LOL, I used to tell ~j that there was NO WAY I was driving a minivan until after I turned 30.  Thankfully, the SUV I had pooped out when I was 27 and I bought a new Expedition.  Now, I just need this thing to last until the kids are big enough that I don't NEED the minivan anymore.

We did rent a minivan on a trip one time, and while it was nice, I just couldn't do it...
