I gave my respect!  I admit it's a great vehicle!

But with my driving, I need a vehicle capable of driving over things easily. :P  And I've only got one kid, so I can get away with my truck & suv still.  My girlfriend has 3 kids (3 & under- and just found out she's pregnant again), there's no way she could function in any other vehicle.

I had 4 kids in 6 years and have evaded the minivan.  There is hope!  LOL

May I recommend an Expedition?  I couldn't live without my gas guzzler. :)  (In my defense I do drive ~j's Kia whenever I am out running errands and he is home with the kids.)

Hey, Dave. I'm not a broker in that sense. I've had great experience with Craigslist for selling cars, though. We sold our Jeep last summer within 22 hours of posting it on their site.

Like those Viagra ads, eBay Motors isn't anything I thought people *actually* clicked on.

My in-laws both bought and sold a vehicle on Ebay Motors.  They are in backwoods Alabama, but it worked out very well for them.  I don't know in a major area if as many people look at Ebay, but their sales time was pretty quick.

Hey Huntress, just happened upon this thread.  Not in the market at the moment, but the wife may be switching jobs soon and I know she wants an upgraded vehicle.

I want a Dodge Challenger and she wants a Toyota 4 runner.  Can you make her want what I want and get it cheaply?!?  hehehe

I don't think you'd have a problem getting what she wants cheaply. And...unfortunately, my services do not include enticing a client to change their mind about their preference. I don't usually recommend vehicles that I have not driven personally. I'm although still hesitant to do a deal on a Toyota until they have proven that the problems are all fixed. Let me know when you two decide to look at numbers. I can definitely help.

Okay, if you see a good deal on a 4 runner let me know.  She wouldn't mind a Nissan Xterra either.  She did end up getting that job, and will most likely be hounding me for that upgrade shortly.  Might as well beat her to the punch and surprise her.

Until the end of April, there is $2250 customer cash available on the Xterra. I do not see any cash incentives right now on the 4Runner. In order to search & negotiate for you, I have to be told the exact options, trim level and color that you & your wife desire. In order to get a good quote, I'd also need to know exactly when you plan to buy. I mean, I could look around online to find vehicles - but without the leverage, I can only get the same deal you would be able to get by searching online. That way I can get a true apples-to-apples quote from several dealers. My charge is $200 for my time & reports. You get a copy of all the reports I use. Here is one way to compare models. Let me know if you are not able to access this Consumer Reports page. If not, I'll save as a PDf for you. Please PM me an email address I can use, and we can talk more.

MSRP on top-of-the-line Xterra is $31,500. I could make a deal (depending on the extras you'd had) for $3500-4000 less than that with the incentives they are running until 4/30. I will not get a new report for May for about another week and a half, if you want to check back then.
