OK, anyway! Well, going to pass on TOURNEY he wants dues by Wed. for a tourney over a week away,  aahhhh , no!  Was really excited about playing local tournament instead of everywhere else.  Maybe someone will start some tournaments this Fall.  It's Sad when Blue Ridge has more tournaments a year than Anna and Blue Ridge fields are a joke! Last time I played there I dropped my sunglasses down a crack in the outfield,  that took putting my arm down past my elbow to retrieve them. Could really bring some money to charities or youth sports here in Anna.  Almost all teams that play in Mckinney leagues are from around here and are always looking for local tournaments.  If anyone knows a good charity or benefit and wants to get the ball rolling for a tournament here in Anna I will be willing to help set up and spread the word around league.

the guy who started this tourney in a couple weeks wants to do them much more often as fundraisers for AYSA as well as other causes. The city is also putting on another league this fall. the fees are due this Friday for the fall league that starts around the same time the tourney is being held.

do we not usually have to pay up front for a tourney or league? guess i do not understand the reason to not play in a tourney based on when the fee is due. help me understand.

Ya the city is starting another Coed league, not Men's League.  And to answer your remark on paying tourney's!  You must not play very often,  cause trying to round up money from players is never easy,  almost all tournaments played in USSSA or ASA leagues are pay when you arrive.  Also giving my money to somebody that soon,   hoping that we will still play as scheduled is just not for me.  As for the AYSA! iI'm still waiting on my money back from signing up my 3 year old son for soccer! Since they didn't have enough kids signed up they where unable to create a team. Which I can understand, but not returning emails or phone calls for almost a month, C,MON!

i have only played in leagues (mens/co-ed) and in each one the money is in advance. Tourney's must be different and allowing payment the day of. i haven't played any of those.

good luck
