Collin County Adventure Camp

Has anyone had their child attend this camp here in Anna?? I've gone to their website and it looks like fun and something my son would enjoy and I was thinking about sending him for a week? If anyone has any experiences, I would love to hear them! thanks in advance!
Also- approx. where is it?  I am not familiar with areas around here-other than my subdivision (I am an Allen/McKinney girl)-haha-

I haven't had a child attend, but live next door to the camp.  Sounds like they are having a great time from what I hear. 

As for location, if you go north on Hwy. 5 from FM 455, turn right on FM 2862.  The is the street right before Alice's Tax service across from the Chiropractic office.  Cross the railroad tracks and turn left at the 4-way stop.  Follow FM 2862 for several miles.  The road is very curvy.  The camp is located on the left just before you get to downtown Westminster.  If you get to that downtown area, you've gone too far.

The program director is one of Anna's volunteer firefighters.  We have been out there for some of the community days.  It is a great place and all the people that work there are top notch.  Many of the Collin County Schools take their 5th graders there for outdoor science education.

If I had children the correct age, I would not hesitate enrolling them for a week or more!

The director's wife is a teacher at our preschool and is WONDERFUL!!!  She also works at the Adventure Camp in the summers.  I love her and would send my kids out there no questions asked if they were going to summer camp.
