I wanted to give everyone plenty of notice.  This year as in many years past, Anna United Methodist Church will be having their Annual Turkey Dinner to support Youth Camp Scholarships.   Lunch will be held on Friday, October 29th from 11-2 pm at the church or you may have it delivered to you if you prefer. We also take orders to have delivered to businesses.  Lunch includes HOMEMADE turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, Ms. Peggy's made from scratch rolls and cake for dessert and all this PLUS great fellowship for only $8 !

Darn it, sounds great but my Fridays are tied up with care giving for my wife's 88 year old mother while my wife takes a break to study for her nursing degree. Please post other similar events that we may be able to attend.

There's nothing like the aroma of a baked turkey. We now go to restaurants on T-Day where it's just not the same.
