If you've never been to the Wildflower Festival in Richardson this is a good year to go.  You can purchase tickets by the day or a weekend pass is $25.  It is a family friendly event and alcoholic beverages and food are available for purchase.  They have really cool kids areas each day.

RBO and I go, and help sponsor it, by purchasing the Friends of the Festival package which is awesome.  Last time we met a friend of Roger Staubach's in the sponsor club, and he sent us an autographed football for the family afterward.  Just because.  Look for details under:  Sponsors/Friends of the Festival.

They have some excellent headliners this year:  Everclear, Pat Benatar, America, Blue Oyster Cult, Kathy Mattea...  Something for everyone.

Is it possible that the Falls development begin to plant wildflowers in and around the development.  Maybe the landscape committe could organize places to plant wildflowers with the cooperation of other developemnts along 455 to make a pretty drive into the original down town area.  Maybe a clean up and beautification need to begin now instead of 10 years from now.  Maybe it would bring folks in  for lunch or dinner at places that are coming in to our town.   Just a thought

Sweet! We have a special service to go to at church on the 18th, but we might be able to make it out on the 17th. I'll have to look up more details. Sounds like fun.
