They played a good game this afternoon, but the other team played well, too.  They lost 11 to 10.  What a heartbreaker!  It's double elimination so they play again tomorrow at 4 pm.

Let me tell you, a double-fault final-play elimination hasn't occurred since the Helsinki episode of 1919, and I think we all remember how THAT turned out!

They played hard but I understand that the second game played at 4pm in the heat of the day did not fare well for them.
