I would never wish ill will on anyone, but I bet Gerber Baby would turn on a dime if she needed to call the Anna Fire Department if her house was on fire or something like that.  She'd probably take all the volunteers she could get. ;)

Bravo, mama!!!

We've got your husband's back.

I love our brave police and firefighters. I respect public servants, especially in these small towns where they probably get no or little pay; they just serve to support their community. Also, those who serve on HOA boards who get zero pay, and get nothing but grief. Sure, there are bad cops, lazy firemen, corrupt politicians, and vindictive HOA board members, but for the most part they're all just trying to do their best.

How very passive-aggressive of you.

There's always going to be poeple that think they just found an injustice or loop hole or whatever other means to stand on a soap box.  You can't take everyone seriously, ya know?

I personally think it's awesome to have a mayor that can get his hands dirty and get both jobs done.  Now that I think about it, isn't it more of an injustice to have a mayor that won't help put out a fire or come to the rescue for a car accident??

And we have had other cases of people abusing their power here in Anna... a certain woman who used to be on the city council, and an official for a certain local church, and leader of the anti-liquor campaign, and the manager of a local bank.  That's what abuse of power is, not being mayor and firefighter.  (That's called a good and decent citizen.)

It's all in the yin and yang, e. I have very strong opinions, unless I don't.
