Anna City Library Coming Soon ?

I have heard that when the post office moves to their new location, the city is going to convert the current po building into a public library. Do we have enough people in Anna who are interested in a library ?

I had not heard that.  I was hoping for something a little more...well, grand for The Honorable John Geren Jedi Master City of Anna Public Library.  But its the thought that counts.

It would be a whole lot more convenient than our trips to the McKinney library!  Then the kids might actually get to go with me more often than just in the summer...

Yeah, well.  We had a 'Library' in Boyd.  It was quite underwhelming.  We always drove to Decatur.  They had, like books and audio/visual media and stuff.  Even computers!   It was like...a real library or something.  Not an embarrassment.

That is about like the one in Van Alstyne, but it is sufficient for the kids and has story time!  I will still probably make trips to McKinney for my own book stack...

Possibly.  Seeing as you can't "overnight" anything at the post office from Anna (not that they tell you that until AFTER you have paid) it seems that we may be outlying enough for ILL.

Except for today, which kinda pissed me off.  McKinney has all kinds of neat stuff planned for the summer though.  I will definately be taking the children up there.
