Last update for Anna tonight....

Everything pretty much stays the same.

Obama is to be Prez.

Becky Glover is winning with 40.57% of the votes.

All six propositions are going to pass.

And your neighbors are currently still saying no to liquor sales, but it's close, so I won't even dare call it. Currently there are 815 votes FOR, and 828 votes AGAINST.

Good night, Anna!

Congratulations Becky!

I still can't believe that many people voted for Livia.  I suspect some voter fraud.

I'm surprised the charter amendments got such a positive response.
Prop 1 - 3 year terms - power grab
Prop 2 - Post expired term removal - good to clear that up
Prop 3 - Keep job while running - ok I guess but could be seen as not committed
Prop 4 - Mayor/quorum - trying to push more business thru?  Why not wait for the council...
Prop 5 - P&Z cancel meetings - what if I want to speak at this coming P&Z meeting?
Prop 6 - Council simple majority to change Comprehensive plan - if it's the plan why make it easier to change?

Well, I guess if I was serious about it, I would have campaigned against them, but I just thought there were more around here that thought like me...

Fred,  I wish you would have posted this BEFORE. I did not vote "for" all the charter amendments (some I agreed with, others I didn't), but I probably looked into them more than someone who wasn't involved with the city government at all.

You do have some good points, I wonder if next election we will have a ton of charter amendments to change these ones?
I am sarcastic and have a smart ass attitude.  It's a natural defense against drama, bullshit, and stupidity...

I am shocked as well that more people did not read into this.  I think the big picture outshadowed the charter stuff.  I read them as Fred does.
