Or maybe, this is a novel idea-I know, maybe we don't need quite so many police cars?  There are NEVER that many police on duty, aren't they old and mature enough to share?

I just keep thinking back to the cities rebranding efforts and how that money could have been put to a better use.  My tax dollars are a terrible thing to waste!

$22K for the concept alone, if I recall correctly, and more to paste Laura Ingalls all over city cars and signs. Don't get me started...  ::)

I wonder if they have figured out that next year will be the same if not worse than this year? Better start saving those pennies!

Why, permits for new construction are already up 0.00001% from last year.  Surely that should be taken as a sign things are on an uptick!

Come on.  I thought we were up about 500% over last year.  We went from 1 permit to 6 permits or something like that.

FIVE-HUNDRED PERCENT sounds way more impressive than, "Six."

Re: County Tax -- Cut TOLLROAD UPDATE

Aren't you happy about the county property tax cuts ? The average taxpayer saves about $5.50 a year. Now about that toll road going in through Anna ? The commissioners have met and voted on forking over more dollars to their new "Toll Road Authority."
These dollars will be uses to build the first service road from 75 to 121. I have always thought that our government has NO Business creating a Toll Road. Notice how quick this one just got voted on in. They may even toll the service road. Is this Legal ?
