stupidity......thats all I can say! If anyone reads over this site there are more mistakes in grammar...judgement etc and yet all of you jump at the chance to say something even more stupid than my typo? So I was in a rush and didnt correct a typo? Does this mean Im ignorant? I believe that the comments made by most of you over and over about important things show a lot less education than my typo:) My one mistake against 99% of comments on this site = no comparison to lack of education.

Yes, but 100% of your postings contain typos.  I dare to venture I am at least a few percentage points better than you.

And if you want to bitch about being attacked...  Well, that is just the pot calling the kettle black.

Could you please go be a sore loser somewhere else, or at least come up with something constructive to say?

Time will tell.....I have no doubt that his lack of ability and her mouth will do much damage. Majority of voters - yes its sad! Most of our voters are people who treat all of this like its a high school election or popularity contest with absolutely no clue of the damage that can be done placing people with very little knowledge in a place where they can have some power. Im positive the ego will continue to show while his lack of education and preparation for this positions will appear as well and then you will all realize that you have released a sleeping giant that you will have to deal with. Oh well...watch and learn! Bitter...no, disgusted! I did not say that we do not have quality....we just dont have enough! I dont know Jon well but I know that when you compare knowledge, experience, integrity....theres no comparison - Jon has more! What exactly has Darrin accomplished? He mentioned the utility savings we could have by switching companies? This was for his own personal gain and he acted like a baby when the city made a decision to make a change but not have him involved. What else has the guy done? His only motive is money - for him! Even the mayor did not want him there.....that tells you something! Its ok....2 years isnt a lifetime and there will be plenty of proof after these 2 years that you all have made a grave mistake but hey...not much happening in Anna at this point. By the time everything shifts into a better place in the market we will have a better council in place!  If Im wrong in 2 years....I will say Im wrong - right here! I will give credit where credit is due but what has happened in Anna with this election is that it shows this town just cant get it together. The bad...always out shines the good!

I didn't comment on this yesterday because I try to live by the rule of just let it go and let it die.  But now...well I just can't hold back.  The one thing you said that really got in my craw was acting like the Mayor is all that and a cupcake.  Let's talk about the mayor and personal profit shall we?  How much of the mayor's personal property is involved in the developments he is pushing?

And your grammar is horrific, you have no punctuation skills and the run on sentences and paragraphs are atrocious.   What constitutes "educated" to you?  You keeping spouting off about that like you know everyone's pedigree.

Let me clarify my WOW. Do you guys really think that the majority of residents in Anna know any of this stuff??  The Issues or who these people on the signs are.  I wish they did, but how many people voted?  Wasn't it close to 250?  I saw signs for the Driskell guy and the Hendrix guy and one about kids first.  But it does sound like some of you have dirt on these people...  That would probably make it more interesting.

hey I didnt start the grammar crap....I dont take the time to worry about how my words are put here, its just important that they are here. This forum represents Anna and is easily found online which makes all of us look like the majority here. I live here too and believe if this site is going to be found easily online there needs to be more of the truth put out for others to see.  So...lets just continue with the stupid banter or stick to the facts. Which would you like others to see when they are researching a great place to live?

I don't take time to worry about my words either.  I have good grammar skills and no effort is required.

The truth is out there (and here) interpretation is what happens alot around here.  Interpretation leaves room for opinions.  It appears that your opinion is that the Anna Chamber is strong and effective, active and growing.  It is my opinion that the Greater Anna Chamber is much stronger, more effective, moving in a positive direction with honesty and openness as their base of operation.

The Greater Anna Chamber publishes their memberlist online.  Does the Anna Chamber do this?

The Greater Anna Chamber invites all of their members to their monthly board meetings?  Does the Anna Chamber do this?

The Greater Anna Chamber has financial specialist on their board to make sure the books are kept according to guidelines.  Does the Anna Chamber have this?

I would love to discuss facts instead of propaganda, inuendos, and how we hope things to be.
