Possibly, if sealed in a hazardous waste container.
I am sarcastic and have a smart ass attitude.  It's a natural defense against drama, bullshit, and stupidity...

Reminder: This is today.

If you've got old paint, batteries, motor oil, tires, Celine Dion tapes, etc laying around this is your chance to dispose of them safely.

They did not ask me for proof that I was a legal resident of Anna. They just asked me where I was from, how I heard about the collection and what I was bringing.

Just dropped off my junk.....it was very well put together.  It was great to see all that stuff piled up and knowing it wasn't going into the ground.  Kudos to whoever organized it!

Thank you for this reminder.  Got rid of that old paint and paint remover can that had the rusted out bottom and started leaking.  Very impressive mobile operation they setup.  Oh, and when she asked where I heard about it, I said Anna Texas Forum.  She didn't say "Anna what?".  She said "ok, website" and checked the box on her sheet.

Great pics Fred!

I tried to find myself in the photos, but the best I could do was to find my truck.

I also saw the yellow strap I donated to help keep the tent from blowing away.

I was really impressed with the turn-out.  When I arrived at 8:35 there were about 10 cars lined up waiting for the event to begin.  Even then, I expected we'd get good traffic for an hour or so and then the cars would stop coming...   It was about 12:15 before we reached a point where we finished unloading a vehicle and there wasn't one right behind it.

P.S.: I am sooo sunburned.

P.P.S.: Special thanks from me to those who dropped off numerous cans of Minwax stain, poly, and pre-conditioner. I'll make sure they don't get into the ground-water. :)

Great pics Fred!

Why thank you drax0r.  Those were taken with my Nikon D3S with 24-70mm lens.  No wait, I left that at home.  No, I guess I don't even own one of those.  Did you realize they made $15000 cameras!

I just used my cellphone...
