This morning on my way back home I encountered an accident in front of my neighborhood.  The victim of the accident was a friend, so I stopped to be with her until help arrived.  911 had already been called.  Very quickly two fire vehicles, one ambulance and two police cars arrived. 

The scene was handled very professionally.  The incident commander began giving instructions to other responders and everyone involved in the accident was taken care of quite quickly. 

It was very comforting to myself and to the husband of my friend (he came after the accident occurred) to see everyone taking care of their part to secure the scene and take care of those involved.
