Permit for Discharging a Firearm
« on: May 26, 2009, 12:33:42 PM »
I had to go figure out what the heck you guys are talking about regarding the new logo.  So now that I see it, I'm distracted by this link.  http://annatexas.net/images/stories/Discharging_a_Firearm_within_the_Anna_City_Limits.pdf

What the heck is this?  Thought you couldn't discharge a firearm within city limits.  But if I do, it's because someone has entered my house unannounced.  Does this mean I'm going to get a ticket for not having a permit when I shoot the intruder?

we should all fill one out "just in case"
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice said. "Oh, you can't help that," The Cheshire cat said with a grin. "We're all mad here. You may have noticed I'm not all there myself..."

Hell No! The way the legal system is all jacked up, I wouldnt put it past some lawyer to later use this as premeditation or some crap. Gotta protect the a-holes that break into homes you know, due process and all ::)

Maybe they had to create a permit because some prairie woman keeps shooting her .22 at the stars in town.   :D

That reminds me though - there is a house near the pool that has an awesome security protection type sign out front.  It is red white and blue in the shape of Texas and it says something like "This house is protected by Sec X.XX The Castle Law.  All intruders will be shot."

Anyone know where I can get one?  I'm almost to the point of knocking on their door I want one so badly.

Last time we were caught Daddy whipped us with an old garden hose.
