Reach Around!

Does anyone else have problems with the location of the doorbell on their home.  It seems the builder installed them for a left handed person...  very awkward!

As I have no reason to ever ring my own bell, I must admit sir, I've never noticed.  Were you to come ring my bell (and you're welcome to do so anytime), then we'd have a better understanding of placement.

Hmmm.  Mine is on the right-hand side. So I think it may be the builder in question.

or which direction your door opens - this is dependent on your layout :)

Why do you ring your own doorbell?

Does that make you a "ding dong"?

well you did chase off the yard apes.  I am sure that scared most people away.  Most people LOVE their yard apes.

Try using your left hand when ringing it... maybe that will help

I hear that if you sit on your hands until they fall asleep, then ring the door bell, it feels like someone else is ringing it for you.

Had my doorbell looked by the builder rep.  Brad was his name.  Told me he saw no problems with the install and how easy it was to operate.  Of course as I demonstrated he could clearly see about the reach around I had explained in email to him.  He left me his #.
My kids would love to come and ring the door bell all day if you like.
