I know that the new program is supposed to start pretty soon. When are we getting the containers?

If I remember correctly or heard correctly we will get them over the next month but the service won't start picking them up until October.  So you will still have to use your old containers for a while after you get them.

The first pick up is planned to be September!  :)

The factory is supposed to be delivering them to Bradshaw soon!  I will keep you all posted :)

The letter we got in the mail last month said that we would get the containers mid-August and the first pickup would begin immediately after Labor Day.  I assume if there is any change to that we will get another letter.

Here's another question. I put out my garbage bags just like always, along with three bags of yard debris in those brown paper bags.
For some reason they picked up the three plastic bags, but not the paper bags with the yard debris.  One was tipped over, but they were still there when I came home from work.
Is there some kind of new policy or something? I left a message with Bradshaw, so hopefully they will get back to me. But does anyone know?

It wouldn't be like this is the first time I've set out these large paper bags along with the regular plastic bags, so what gives?

I am excited about the recycling! They made it so easy since you can put it all together in the one bin.

I am not sure what I think about one day a week pickup.  With 6 in the house I think we will end up with overflow at times.  I will probably also mess up at times and set recycling out on trash day and trash out on recycling day... oops...

My recycle bin will be filled in a few days, someone keeps putting a slew of these silver and blue cans in the trash...
