Democratic Party of Collin County-An Invitation

Hello,
I wanted to invite all interested folks to attend our monthly meetings.  For May, 2008
May 9 Second Friday Social Dinner, 6:30-9:00 PM Spaghetti Warehouse Restaurant in Plano, I-75 and 15th. 
May 17  DPCC General Business Meeting, 10:30 AM, CCCC-Spring Creek Campus, Rear Cafeteria
May 24 Memorial Day Picnic and Chili Cook-Off, Crowley Park, Richardson
As we identify more and more Dems in the Anna area, we will sponsor events in that part of our growing county!  a more information about how to get involved with the Democratic party, please contact www.collindems.us  for more information.

To better foster discussion.  MIKEY and I had a lively conversation via PM we likely wouldn't have had otherwise, and I feel I know him better now.  I'm just so thankful I thought to remark when I did to encourage that.

There is only one side.  Since the age of the Hippie there has been a turn in the political values of the Dem.  The once Humanitarian and Family Value poster child quickly became the protector of what is considered PC in the world.  I will be voting Rep.

It is so sad that we have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils for our President. But them again, our "evils" would be considered "angels" compared to the leaders of many countries.

During a lag of faith, I attended a Democratic meeting several years ago at CCCC in McKinney.  One, I heard the phrase "what's our message here?" atleast a dozen times.  B, I was ridiculed by "those smarter than me" because I "didn't get it".  And three, Deborah Angel Smith was not welcoming to outsiders, even though she said repeatedly, "We are the Party of inclusion."

So really, what's the point?  I can never be socialist, I will never want government controlling my health care, and I want to keep as much of my paycheck that I earn so I can put food on the table for my kids.  One final thought, the Democrats consider those making $60k a year the rich and want to eliminate them from the middle class and keep them poor.
