to not vote for someone when they are running unopposed.

Say, for instance, I opted not to vote for Kevin Anderson?   8)

Is there a reason you dont want to vote for Mr. Anderson?
Thank you,

I think this practice (called blank voting) is a perfectly valid means of expression.

I have been told by several people that he does not read the materials provided to council members for issues before he votes on them.

I can't verify it, but it comes from people who would know.  So, yeah that gives me pause.  Had someone run against him I would have taken the time to verify that.

I'm going to not vote for him so when they print the tally it looks something like this -

DRISKELL:  638
ANDERSON:  7

And Chuckster, my reason is because he signed the Prohibition petition.

(which is also why I find Jon Hendricks' "endorsers" FREAKING HYSTERICAL! Oh - everyone who backed you was a front-runner for Prohibition?  HELL YES I'M GOING TO VOTE!)

E, I am running for the same seat as Jon Hendricks, not Kevin Anderson.  He is running unapposed.  Thank you however for your support.

Yes, otherwise my scenario wouldn't have made sense.

Right.  This is the deal:

People can see that a lot of people voted in the election, however, a large number of them went out of their way NOT to vote FOR Kevin Anderson even though he is running unopposed.

It sends a message.   ;)

Anyone who knows my positions knows that is reason enough for me.  >:(
