Now unless he just forgot to hang his placard for disability on the rear view mirror, I see no reason for him to park in a handicapped parking spot at JKB.

Camera phone would do wonders about now...

I've heard rumors that he plays paintball with his friends.....but yet he has a handicap sticker.......unless he is one of the targets and doesn't move.....that usually requires some mobility.

That two years is a very long time.  Yes, he is our mayor and we cannot take that back.  Does he look the part?  No, but that doesn't mean that he cannot be the part.  I have nothing to base my opinion on whether he can "be" the part.

I remember some time ago someone mentioned that he supposedly stated that he had an "untouchable" factor since he was mayor.  Now unless he just forgot to hang his placard for disability on the rear view mirror, I see no reason for him to park in a handicapped parking spot at JKB.

He doesn't need a placard on his rear view mirror it is on his license plate.

I've never heard of this.  Use of the phrase "turns out" denotes a source.  Please cite it.  Many thanks.

Although I'm unsure that even if it turns out to be true, its grounds for defaming our mayor.  Additionally, use of that term is usually reserved for an act of contempt which has occurred specifically against the person using it; less so for non-personal attacks, such as suspected illegal cell phone usage.  In this case, "careless" might be more appropriate.  As an example, the gentleman at the dry cleaner charged me for a sweater rather than a long-sleeved shirt, as it was a pullover.  I pointed out this error and he corrected it.  I did not call him a Death Eater nor a Destroyer of Worlds, as those would have been inappropriate curses given his oversight.

It was in the paper...no cell phone use in school zones at school times...unless using with hands free device...up to a $200 fine...posted under speed limit signs with the flashing lights by the schools.....I know this cause I read it...forgot about it....got pulled over and warned today... :-[

gee the mayor came out to our lil block party and was really nice, he listened....to each that spoke to him with utmost respect, now on the other hand, i wonder if all of his messages get to him thru the city hall, i really believe that ifso, there would be done more in our subdivision.

I am sure he doesn't hear all the complaints/concerns through City hall nor should he.  He is our Mayor not our King, he has his tasks as Mayor to deal with and is not the end all say all on what gets addressed.  No matter how much he would like to fix the worlds problems he simply can't fix it all nor does he have that power to b honest.  For the most part our Mayor is the head of a council that votes yes or no on open items on the Cities agenda.  If your concerns are maintenance issues or something that doesn't require the councils involvement the the Mayor shouldn't be involved for the most part.  That is the job of the paid City employees in public works or even the city manager to address.  Now if you can't get results through those people by all means the Mayor or any council member as a matter of fact can be used to get visibility to your issue.   IMO our public works department is, well lacking, from my POV so the elected council and Mayor end up involved more than they should need to.  We have good and bad in our City Government, I think parking and cell phone habits are about the least of our worries in that but pointing out simple flaws in a public figure is the American way of life I suppose.

been there done that, several call to the city, emails and letters by all, the mayor is the last resource but one that i think we would love to all talk to about the situation, and see if he can get something done, thus far after months and many calls by alot of the residents, still nothing....at what point do you call the 'mayor' a year? 2 years?  we have been fighting this situation for a year now and no avail.
