Tax more to save money
« on: October 25, 2010, 02:00:50 PM »

"Sacrosanct tax breaks, including deductions on mortgage interest, remain on the table just weeks before the deficit commission
issues recommendations on policies to pare back with the aim of balancing the budget by 2015.

The tax benefits are hugely popular with the public but they have drawn the panel's focus, in part because the White House has said these
and other breaks cost the government about $1 trillion a year.

To paraphrase the above excerpt, "Because we don't collect taxes on something, it is 'costing' us."  Lack of Taxation has now officially been defined as an Expense.  To save money we need to tax more... Thank you Mr. Obama.

Maybe they should cut back spending.  That's what I have to do.

I love how we used to hear the Bush wars were bankrupting us.  The last 2 years have been more costly than nearly all previous spending by all presidents combined.  Where is the uproar to tap the brakes?

This past week.  Early Voting.  Its my guess the entire nation will make Democrats an endangered species.

With any luck at all, Republicans will soon follow.

This two-party system is bullshit.

Unfortunately, E, what's the alternative? Ross Perot?

This country needs a major bitch slap.

I nominate E for the f-you party. Chilli, Red, and Drax will be appointed legislators. Admiral Akbar will be the Sargent at arms (he'll know if there's a trap)

Pelosi vowed no deficit spending.  The dems then spent $5 trillion more.

My bad, Red. Don't take it personally.

BTW, nice legs. If they're yours.

If they're not, still nice legs.
