I would like to take a moment to thank the opposition, those who oppose alcohol sales in our fine city. And in a surprisingly unexpected move, I'm being sincere.
Without you, I would have never met so many fine people in this great city of ours. Sure Joe Admin and his forum was the meeting place, but I think without the hot-button topic of alcohol on the agenda, I would have felt less compelled to take up beer in my arms and mingle with like-minded folk. So thank you.
Without you, I would have never gotten involved in local politics. I've never been to a city council meeting in my life, and now I serve on a commission at the pleasure of the city, and have become involved in a local cause to support, bringing me closer to citizens and business owners I might not have otherwise met. I have you personally to thank for meeting some wonderful people out there.
You have also shown me how very deceitful and evil you all are, while simultaneously proclaiming to be men and women of God. Shame on you! Your lips said you wanted a clean fight, but you never had any intention of playing fair. That is reprehensible.</LI>
So, thanks for playing and I'll see you at the liquor stores. LONG LIVE ANNA!
