All of us in the "older" neighborhoods have electric heat, Anna just got gas about a year and a half ago.  The Falls, Creekside, etc are all electric.  Before we moved here we had both and I wish we still had it, it was the one thing that we had to seriously consider that we were "giving up" when we built this house.
I am sarcastic and have a smart ass attitude.  It's a natural defense against drama, bullshit, and stupidity...

I like cooking on gas so much more than electric....After my last light bill..wish we were heating with it too.  I think West Crossing has the option of having gas also.

I had gas in STL, My heating bill was just fine. I can live with electric heat, but do I ever miss my gas stove. Man, I loved that stove.

I have an electric cook top, but there is a gas connection also. I want a gas cook top so bad but I have a hard time spending money to get rid of something that isn't broken. I think about it all the time though!

Oh man!...If I had the option to cook with gas, I'd do it in a heartbeat!...I'd put my electric stove on craigslist to recoup some of the cost...The longer we are here, the more I wish we bought in West Crossing  :(...

Changing subject:...What is up with Stetson Ranches fence line along West Crossing...my daughter said it looks ghetto..LOL...are the homeowners responsible since they don't have a HOA anymore?

As the snow flies
On a cold and gray Chicago mornin'
A poor little baby child is born
In the ghetto
And his mama cries
'cause if there's one thing that she don't need
it's another hungry mouth to feed
In the ghetto
