I know snow is kind of fun for natives of Dallas. I lived for several years in the upper midwest and had a lifetime of snow in a few years. If I never see snow again, I will be a happy Texan.
I bet you laugh at us to when we anxiously tune in to the news wanting to know if our kids have school on days that the roads are iced over or there is snow on the ground. I use to live in Denver, Colorado and nothing shuts them down.
The last snowstorm I was caught in shut Denver down, and as much as I love snow, well, that sucked.
11 people, 800 sq ft house, 4 days with no electric, heat, or running water. To top it off it was my
in-laws. I was soooo happy when the National guard could finally get in to rescue us.
I am never going to Grandma's house at Christmas again.
