The kids and I are beyond happy! If only it will stick around for snow angels later when the kids get home from school!

Sorry you missed the snow Peaches, I was just telling my kids it might snow Friday and my husband said It was snowing outside right then. Well like everyone else that sees snow once every few years I had to grab my camera.

I know snow is kind of fun for natives of Dallas.  I lived for several years in the upper midwest and had a lifetime of snow in a few years.  If I never see snow again, I will be a happy Texan.

The last snowstorm I was caught in shut Denver down, and as much as I love snow, well, that sucked.

11 people, 800 sq ft house, 4 days with no electric, heat, or running water.  To top it off it was my in-laws.  I was soooo happy when the National guard could finally get in to rescue us.

I am never going to Grandma's house at Christmas again.

being from St. Louis Mo. im used to snow and ice, and i really miss the snow, it was so pretty, i was home last winter taking care of my mom so i got to see lots of snow....one storm brought us 2 foot, it was awesome!

I am from Ohio and I have definitely seen my share of snow, but this was something crazy!  Jamie's grandparents lost all but 5 of their cattle, the snow was drifted so bad we honestly couldn't find the cars, and the downed power lines made us inaccessible.
