Ladies and gentlemen, I need to pass on some information to everyone.  Over this weekend we had several cars in different neighborhoods broken into and property taken.  In all the cases the vehicles were left unlocked and the items that were taken were things that a teenager would be interested in.

Please keep your vehicle's locked and take your valuables inside your house if possible.  Also keep an eye on what your children are coming home with, i.e. cell phones, video games, etc....., these are some of the items that are being taken.

It is also quite possible that the people involved have a scanner that picks up our dispatch channel because it appears that the items were taken when our officer was busy for several hours on a major accident.
