Thinking of buying a house in that subdivision? Been out there several times seems to be a lot of stray dogs. 2 pitbulls to be exact so we are a little leary. Have there been any problems with them? They were not on a leash.

Just fill your front yard with bear traps.  Problem solved.

Or fill your yard with Pit Bulls.  At some point it just becomes a numbers game, innit?
Pitbulls are passe. Think to yourself, "what would Lady Gaga do?". That's right, fill your yard with greased up & bondage dressed young people and Great Danes.

I live out here in Pecan Hollow-it is a great quiet neighborhood.  There are some strays, but they stay away from people for the most part.  Our kids play outside all the time, along with the smaller neighbors kids, and we have never had an issue with dogs.  This is a great neighborhood.

We've been here 3 1/2 years and haven't had problems with any of the dogs.  We hardly ever have any in our yard.  We like it out here.  Quiet.  I've got three kids and play and ride their bikes without issues.

That's great thanks for responding. We will be moving out there next month and can't wait.  We have seen an older gentlemen walk his pit bull without a chain and was a little worried about that especially since I have a cat!  My husband did see the pit bull attack another dog it was very sad. So was concerned because it could of easily been someone's child. Those dogs are very unpredictable. I just could not believe he was walking it without a chain in a neighborhood with children.

Also, I have a general question about the trash pick up? What is the best company to use and also for the internet. Does suddenlink go out there? Thanks so much for the info

No cable available out here.  I have DSL through AT&T and that only became available about 18 mos. ago.  You can also go satellite internet, but I found it to be quite pricey.

We don't use the trash pick-up, so I can't help you there.  My husband works in construction and he just takes ours to work with him.

So far, we've not witnessed an issue with the dogs.  However, I can guarantee you that if we do, that dog will be taught how to play dead if you know what I mean.
