Pond in Mckinney with the fountain
« on: January 25, 2012, 09:20:53 AM »
It's a lake right now.  Completely over the banks, under 75, the entire woods to the West of 75 are under water.

If you are traveling south soon, give yourself an extra TWO HOURS!

Wow - the golf course in Allen near exit 32 is all underwater except for a couple hilltops still visible.

We have a dry creek bed behind our house. It's now a raging river. Front yard almost completely under water.

Chase Oaks? I used to live off the 8th green. It flooded often.

Several cars were parked on the shoulder of 75, before you get to 380 right after Wilmeth.. Several had flat tires and I saw one car bounce pretty good as though it hit something in the road.  I wonder if all the rain didn't wash out something causing a big pot hole which is causing blown tires.  Who knows but it seemed odd, so you might want to watch out for the slow lane right in that area until the rain and puddles are gone to make sure it's not a road problem.

Yep, I saw 10 cars pulled over about 7am and at least 4 were changing tires.   Not sure if the others were involved in a a little bumper cars action or maybe they were evaluating tire damage as well...
