TV Antenna Reception / Advice
« on: December 14, 2011, 09:38:51 AM »
We've decided to get rid of cable and switch to Free to Air TV.  The downside is that we are in Anna, which is a long ways from the closest towers.  I've done some research, and it seems to get a decent number of channels, we will need an antenna with about 125-150 mile range.

My question:  Do any of you use antenna TV only?  If so, what has been your experience?  What equipment has worked for you?  Any technical advice you can give?

I'm just outside of the city limits, so there are no issues with having a roof antenna, but it does mean I'm even further from the broadcast towers than you folk in the city limits.   I'm thinking I'll just mount it where the dish is, and use that co-ax to come into the house.

What say you all?

There's like, 9 threads on this already - chock full of advice, links and opinions.

Use that little search box in the upper right-hand corner under the stylized Anna Avenger.

Good luck!

So I read all these posts, E.  What did you end up doing?  I just put mine off and did nothing.

As usual...
