Zumba in Blue Ridge, who wants to go with me???

I found an instructor (Blanca Downing) that teaches Zumba in Blue Ridge.  I sent her an email regarding the class fee.  If the classes are affordable, would anyone be interested in going?  We could start a car pool to save gas.  The classes in Blue Ridge are Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-7pm.  They are held at the Methodist Church:  104 n. main street, Blue Ridge.  I'll find out about getting an instructor to come out and do some classes in Anna!!!

Blanca (instructor) told me that her fee is $5 per class.  She also does a punch card.  For example:  You put in $25 into your punch card (5 classes), then every time you come in she will punch it.  That way the both of you will keep track of how many classes you have left.  There is no membership fee.  You pay as you go or you get a punch card.  You don't have to worry about if you miss a day because it will not be counted against you. 

She is running a special:  Buy 10 classes get 1 free!!  It would be convenient to do the punch card in this case. 

Kids are welcome to come.  If they are 12 and under, they are free.  If they are 13-16 then it’s less than the $5…. I think she said either $2 or $3.  Males are welcome to come as well.

I’ll be driving out to Blue Ridge tomorrow for the 6pm class if anyone wants to come with me for our first Zumba class.

I am going to plan on going, I have never done Zumba, so I will be the one at the back of the class passed out on the floor.
Do you know if the class is beginner friendly??

I've never done a zumba class either, so that makes 2 of us!  Blanca told me that it is beginner friendly, that she will work with us until we get the moves down.  I've done zumba on xbox kinect but that is not the same.  I'm pretty sure if we can round up some more newbies we won't have to hang out in the back!!

YAYAYAYAY!!! How awesome!!! I have been dying to do Zumba, all the classes are so far away. I will be gone most of the month of July, and tomorrow night I have to go pick a friend up from the airport. I am so bummed I will miss it!!!

Is there anymore info I need before showing up? It is every tue and thur at that address? If so I will plan on showing up the first Tue in Aug.

Is she going to be doing this long term, or just for a set amount of weeks?  I hope it's long term!

yeah its every Tuesday and Thursday 6-7pm.  From what Blanca (instructor) told me she will be there long term. 

You need to have on work out clothes, some water, and the $5.  I've seen some people bring towels because they sweat so much during the workout that they need something to wipe off all the sweat!!   
I'll let you know about how I like it and the observations of what people bring with them!  Can't wait till tomorrow. 

If anyone wants to car pool with me, I'm still open to the idea!

The most important question that has yet to be answered:  what is the hotness level of Blanca!?  Oh, and Yoli, the Mom in your profile pic....  You may want to find the entire story before you put stuff like that online.

Yeah I'm still going.  I missed a few classes because of scheduling conflicts.  I'll be going this upcoming Tuesday.
