1 Week In Anna...

Hey There!

Dropping in to say hello...as the site says I should...first.  Just found out about this forum yesterday.  Although I tend to spend most of my time on my many websites/blogs, Facebook or Twitter these days, I think I'll add a daily stop here to see what's going on in Anna (at least until we get a bunch of Anna residents converted to Twitter anyway).

I've been living in Anna a little over a week now.  Love the new house...love the quiet neighborhoods...but haven't been out much (still unpacking).  I did get the chance to take a short walk around Saturday morning with the dog.  Of course my dog ended up doing her business on someone's sidewalk...love those positive first impressions...but we did clean it up!

In my last neighborhood I didn't interact with my neighbors too much...hopefully that will change in Anna.

I've found that this is a whole other world as far as neighbor interaction.  Before I moved here I barely knew my neighbors names.  Now we have driveway booze-ups aplenty.

West Crossing is what is says on that BIG GIANT WALL when I turn in.  ;)

I'm now following you on twitter.  You'll know me because I claim I "ROCK"...I would appreciate it if you keep my...uh...secret identity...to yourself for now.

Yeah- I knew my previous neighbors names...only because the cops would knock on the door and ask if I knew where they were every few weeks!  Not too much fun...

Your 'secret identity' is safe with me -- well, me and ehowton, he runs this little corner of the web alongside yours truly.

You'll find driveway booze-ups all over town. We've met quite a few peeps by crashing driveways in town just to say hi.  Damn near everybody we've met have been quite welcoming and more often than not we end up making some good friends.

I know some rockin' folks in West Crossing - I think you'll enjoy it there.
