Yeah- it was probably on SKIN-A-MAX!

I can tell you- the whole Exploding Colon thing is pretty funny now, but when mine actually did rupture due to Diverticulitis (while I was driving down I-35)...not so funny...or fun for that matter!

I just use the name because it reminds me how lucky I am to still be here...and reminds me to not keep things bottled up!

In case you're interested- more info on Diverticulitis here- http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/tc/diverticulitis-topic-overview.  Colon health is important- no matter how old you are.  There...that's my PSA for today!

Photogoot and I knew an Airman Spray.  He would occasionally wax poetic about how lucky she was she didn't join the Navy.

There was a Seaman Swallows in our training school.  I always wanted to ask "WTF were you thinking???"

So Colon,  How's it going?  What do you think of Anna so far?  What surprised you?  What do you like?  What do you not like?

Fantastic!  In the little less than a month I've been in Anna now- I've already interacted more with neighbors and residents than I have in the last three places I've lived combined!

It's been tough to find people with similar interests and knowledge...but so far I've been quite impressed with everyone in Anna!

I haven't had the opportunity to meet any of Anna's Finest yet (although some would consider that a good thing) but I see them patrolling the neighborhoods and I like that a lot since my kids are playing outside all the time now.

Of course now my wife's complaining that we always have something to do on the weekends...so we're not finished unpacking everything or decorating the house yet.  Personally- I like having "social interaction" as an excuse!

I'm looking forward to trying out all the food establishments in Anna...so far we've had Carls Jr, Dominos and Grandy's because they're familiar.  Also looking forward to exploring the city a bit more when I can find the time.

What have I NOT liked? Hmmm...not much really.  About the only thing is trying to remember to SLOW DOWN to 65MPH when I hit the Collin County line coming home from work.  I've noticed one of Anna's Finest likes to sit right over the hill as I'm driving south on 75.  But...so far so good.  Oh yeah- and let's not forget WEEDSWeeds popping up everywhere in the yard!  I see my neighbors working on their yards every other day...but I HATE YARD WORK!  Some people like it...it relaxes them...but me...it STRESSES ME OUT!  I'd rather have a yard full of ROCKS!

So thanks to everyone for such a wonderful welcome!  I look forward to getting to know everyone more.
