New to the board....few ??????'s

Hey ya'll.....my wife and I moved to McKinney in January from Buda, Texas. We dearly miss the Hill Country, and I am completely fed up with McKinney. We are in the process of saving up the money, and planning our first home build. In the mean time, we are renting a house off of 121 and Lake Forrest, near Craig Ranch. I am about to lose the rest of the hair that I barely have left (and I'm only 29), because I can't stand this part of town. Actually, I can't stand being trapped in the city!!!! We recently took an afternoon drive up Hwy 5, and ended up falling in love with Anna!!! I can't believe the small town feel is so close to us, and we never knew!!!!

Question for you folks is, if anyone could let me know of any properties for rent (long term, we aren't transient types), in any of the wonderful family oriented neighborhoods in Anna, could ya'll let me know? It's hard for us to get out and drive much, with a 4 year old and a just turned 1 year old. So, if you happen to know of any homes near you, just shoot me an e-mail..... kmoore@airedynamics.com

They are all over out here and most of the neighborhood are family oriented...  it all depends on your price range and size requirements..  I would suggest you get a Realtor and make them do the leg work for you..

Howdy!  Lots of houses out this way.  We fell in love with Anna similarly, and now I want my cold, dead carcass buried here.

Creekside has several for rent also.  Most are through a Realtor.  Creekside is the neighborhood with Cape Cod style homes.

We do love it here as well.  We moved out here to raise our children in a small town environment.

Yeah, we found this town through the death of a family member..  We made a trip up to a funeral in OK and were traveling down 75 and notices the builder signs on the side of the highway..  We at the time were looking at building out toward Royce City but we thought we would take a look.  

We pulled into the Falls on our first stop and immediately noticed that it looked like a fleet of school buses had broken down and the children were running ramped.  After one more visit around town we stopped all our building efforts out east and started planning our move to Anna.  I have not regretted the choice one bit and I love all the people I have met here..  It is a great town that has a very small town atmosphere similar to the country area I grew up in.  I just love it, felt at home immediately..
