haha thanks! i'm still trying to get used to the "water towers", and 2 lane freeways. on the way here i liked how merging on to the 75 fwy in dallas it goes for 4-5 lanes, to a 2 lane bridge, to a 1 way (it splits east/west). kinda dumb if you ask me. no wonder there's traffic!

Think of it as an arterial system.

i've seen a few different license plates around here (VA, PA, NY, AZ, FL, and of course... CA) around here. Military moved me out here to mckinney, but i'm reserves now so i report to Ft. worth every once and a while. i like it here, the cops aren't too harsh, looks like the city is growing, and everyone around the community seems pretty decent. no "homies", no junked cars, "gangs", and everyone seems pretty friendly. the schools here i can tell are excellent (although I hear the football team isn' so hot). We do need more restaurants, but i hear those are in the works.

and oh yes.... How i miss the beach and In-n-Out burger!

Sadly i disagree on the school issue, i wish i could agree, truly i do... this last year i had to threaten to hire a lawyer just to get them to test my child like they are required to under federal law, it was a 2 year battle before i threatened to sue and then they finally buckled...

Then there are definitely some teachers at JKB that should not be anywhere near children in general let alone teaching..... But that is a rant for another thread, but i miss Orange County schools, (NOT the Inland Empire schools, that is what i grew up in)

there is one or two "homies" as you put it scattered about but not like back home...

Bottom line IMHO...

I HART ANNA!!!!

yea, that was kinda lame  ;D

System.. you said "Then there are definitely some teachers at JKB that should not be anywhere near children in general let alone teaching..... "

If that is the case, something needs to be said about it.  I can't imagine taking my kid to school & dropping them off everyday feeling that way.. Something would have to be done.

i tried trust me.. i just kept getting told there was nothing the  school can do.. so my kids know to just stay as far away from these two teechers as possible and if they ever do yell at either of kids..... well... god help them is all i can say cuz they will meet my deamonds

I did not know that there were so many In-and-Out Burger worshippers.  I am one too.  I know a guy from Hawaii that makes his "religious" pilgrimage to In-and-Out everytime he is in California.
