City Council 8 Jan

Not much excitement from the 08 Jan meeting, so my notes are pretty light.

Brookshires was looking for office space to setup their hiring managers.  They are also looking for recommendations for employees, and would prefer to hire Anna residents.  Mrs. Dawes-Luther has offered them the Chamber of Commerce offices.

The council has requested to renegotiate the trash contract.  We have requested that the City Manager extend the current contract with Bradshaw Collection while a request for proposals is sent out.  The RFP should go out in late January / early February, with a contract negotiated and executed around the end of July.

I for one would love to work for Brookshires, it next door to the children's school.

How much u think they may pay for managers?  Working in town sounds so good.. sure beats driving to downtown Dallas everyday!
