Even though this was a short meeting, there were a few good points made that everyone needs to consider:

You know that emergency door release cord attached to your automatic garage door?  That cord can easily be reached by burglars.  It's best to remove that cord from the door release.

Some of the deadbolt locks that were installed during home construction are "less than quality."  They don't extend far enough into the door frame to be effective.  Consider replacing the deadbolt locks that are installed on your doors with a deadbolt with a a 3" projection.

Thanks for the info. I've noticed that one lock will click when it's fully locked but another will not go as far. I'm going to replace it right away.
