Technology Advisory Commission + City Manager
« on: June 25, 2008, 01:34:21 PM »
I had grown uninspired with the Technology Advisory Board due mostly to my own frustration at moving at the speed of government.  Being used to the high-stakes, high-stress game of information technology, there seemed to be little I could actually accomplish on the Tech Board, and knowing that there were others who wished to try their hand at it, I felt it only fair that I step down and let others fill my shoes if only for a season.

But then something changed.

Something wonderful.

THE CITY MANAGER SAT IN ON OUR LAST MEETING.

Yes, the City Manager.  And it was wonderful. I had no idea the depth of enthusiasm this man has for the City of Anna, nor the excitement he was able to fill me with once again, in the same vein as the ex-Honorable John Geren, may God rest his soul.   I was filled with the spirit and moved with a desire to exceed my own programming in redoubling my efforts to make a difference once again to this fine City.

Thank you sir, it was indeed a pleasure!

E, I am glad that you had the opportunity to work with Philip.  He has been great to work with and is extremely enthusiastic about ANNA!
