Abandonned home on Post Oak
« on: November 05, 2010, 11:06:16 AM »
This home is on the corner of Pin Oak and Post Oak - can't miss it.  The front yard is out of control, the back yard is worse and I'm getting tired of looking at it and donating yard services.  I spoke with Dawn this morning around 10:00 and was assured she would be out today to look at it (again) and take care of it.  I doubt she will mow the grass and secure the property herself, so I trust she will coordinate the appropriate persons to do so.  This eye sore is one of the first homes potential home owners see when they look into the neighborhood....

I hope to have time to mow the grass again this weekend and will be following up with her on Monday to see what the plan is going forward.

Call Code Enforcement for the City.  I'd bet on better results.

Send her a bill for your services of mowing the lawn on that property.
If it oinks or moos, it bar-b-ques.

Snyder,

Thanks for speaking up and donating yard services.  As an Oak Hollow resident I really appreciate the fact that you took the time and got it done for everyone's benefit.  You are a good neighbor.
