My shotgun holds 7 rounds that alternate between #4 buck and copper solid sabot slugs.

The random meat trucks have been around since we've moved in, 4yrs ago, and I'm sure before that.

Don't understand why anyone would shoot someone to lame/hurt them if they are breaking into your house.  You just shoot to kill.  No need finding out that they can somehow withstand a leg shot and still muscle the gun away from you or pull their own.. Not to mention SOMEHOW they could probably end up suing you for hurting them.  I know that's crazy but nothing surprises me with lawsuits nowdays.

I think most people would instinctively shoot to kill, given the circumstances, but we're Texans- we all talk a big talk.  And my gun is bigger than yours, btw  :P

Not to split hairs, but I would never 'shoot to kill' - I would, however, shoot in such a way as to most immediately stop the danger presented by an assailant which, coincidentally, correlates to shot placement generally resulting in lethality.

****chuckling******

 :D

you and your concious'es and religions, and rules....

we've been instructed to only shoot to kill. whether from a distance or arms reach....

also, we dig through your wallet, cars, and once a next of kin is able to identify you only by your dental records.... we hunt down your family, and well....

i'll leave that to the Forensics specialists to figure out.

just be aware not all of us are just all talk.....

theres a reason we're tx residents now....  >:(
