My one and only conversation with Dawn went well. I did receive the email about making sure that my Christmas decorations were down before Feb. 2nd. I don't know why I received it since I took my decorations down weeks ago.

We recieved the email also - and we never even put up decorations this year!  Did y'all also get a letter about trash cans and vehicles in the street?

Our decorations have been down since just after Christmas. Haven't gotten a letter about trash cans and vehicles yet though.

I got an e-mail about both.  I think it was just a mass e-mail because we have not violated neither.

I called b/c I didn't get my first statement but got one with some major late fees and she has never returned my phone call. I can't say that is very good customer service however based on these posts I take it she isn't too pleasant and won't work with us...yea!

I bet when you do get her on the phone . She will say something like "well I just don't know whats up with the mail sevice in Anna. "  Which I think is funny since I am able to receive all my other bills. You might ask her to send all correspondence via email.  Good luck

I have had a few issues with her...

First, was when I was sent a fine and picture of my neighbors trash can that was clearly on his side of the mailboxes, but it was sent to me as if it was mine.  I called and she removed the fine and noted my account.

Second, was when I received a past due notice on my homeowners dues, but I paid them back in December.  Left a message and she never called back.  I finally caught her at the office and she informed me that we have two accounts for some reason one that showed paid and the other that wasn't.  She assured me this would be cleared up and I would not receive another statement.

Third, I left another message this week because I received another statement with additional late fees added to the initial homeowners fee.  She has yet to call back.

Fourth, I sent an email today letting her know that I would appreciate a returned phone call to get this past due issue cleared up once and for all before its reported to my credit!  And also to let her know that we haven't received our pool wrist bands for this year that we requested several weeks ago.  Waiting for a response.

So needless to say my cutomer service experience hasn't been the best...she does seem overwhelmed...but at least when I do get her on the phone she is polite...so far anyway.

I received and email early this week stating that they would be changing out the pool gate card reader  and that everyone would be issued new key cards before the pool opens. she will be sending out an email to let people know when they will be in the community...maybe you can get wrist bands at that time

as i hear it the card reader is being replaced (lightning/act of God) and the day that company is out here to replace that, Essex will be going door to door handing out new keycards. As far as anyone needing replacement (or initial) "ankle bracelets" for "police" tracking, i havent heard any status on those.

Good luck with that.

We received a blue postcard stating when the pool was opening and instructing us to log on to their website and register for new bracelets.  I still haven't heard back from Dawn at Essex yet so if and when she does reply to my email or call me I will ask.
Thanks...
