Loud music
« on: February 28, 2010, 02:58:38 AM »
who the heck is bassing at 3 am on cottonwood trl or near the vicinity? My god, i'm trying to sleep... :( thought moving to anna I'd get away from all that but now it's almost every night I hear this. Calling the cops doesn't seem to do much cause it continues almost for another hour before it even stops and I don't know where its coming from so if anyone has any info, please respond.

I got a feeling DJ 2Lyte had a gig last night.  He has been spinning tunes in town for a while.  Therefore he is exempt from noise laws.  Grandfathered in.

Latex & Plastic Buttons block bass:

When sound waves hit the panel, the membrane and weighted buttons resonate at difference frequencies. "The inner part of the membrane vibrates in opposite phase to the outer region," says Yang. That means the sound waves cancel each other out and no sound gets through.

I know of a yahoo-some-beach that appears to have gotten new speakers in their choice of vehicles. They enjoy going around the neighborhood making sure we all know their choice of music at all hours.

But I haven’t heard any stationary music. I would suggest a field trip next time to pinpoint the cause. Or maybe them 4hweeling bandito's are partying in the woods with a boombox and you certainly wouldnt want to interupt that without an escort.

Someone in The Falls seems to have the same problem.  I'm 99% sure it's a red Cherokee and it started right after Christmas....I'm guessing Santa had a lapse in judgment for some.  It annoys the piss out of me, but I can't get too self righteous about it b/c I did the exact same thing when I was a high schooler.  Through various cars, I took great pleasure in annoying my neighbors (old fogies in my wise eyes) either through bass or heavily modified cars.  Karma's a bitch sometimes....

Oh well, ce la vie, right?  ::)

this dude with the red jeep definately needs to get clearer Bass and bigger subwoofers to handle the wattage so the windows wont rattle. also Dynamating the doors will insulate the sound and channel it towards the center of the car. once the windows are down, the sound is then amplified without distortion in order for the full acoustic to be heard.

this punk obviously bought his system at walmart and is probably using the stock speakers!

amatuers !  :D
