Pool??

What is going on with the pool?  I noticed it was drained yesterday, I thought it was opening up this weekend.

This is an email I recieved:

The pool will not open on Saturday May 16th due to repairs that where
needed. The repairs are complete and we are now refilling the pool. The
pool will not be completely filled in time for the scheduled opening date.
The pool has been rescheduled to open on May 23rd. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause.

The drain was brought up to code.  So they had to drain the pool to install the new drain.  When they went to install the drain they realize the new one is bigger and had to drill out a portion of the old one.  While it was drained they had them also scrub the tiles in the pool.  According to a pool guy it takes about a week to fill up a pool that size.  So this caused a delay that was not anticipated.  Good news is that our pool will have a drain that our kids can't get caught and drown in.  Plus we got the pool cleaned completely for the first time since it opened!!!
