I talked to one of the girls who was hit.  Sounds like it was air soft pellet guns, and no one got hurt, but the cops were called.

Hey guys, this was just some younger boys, running around with soft air guns.  No one has been seriously injured to my knowledge.  I spoke with the Anna officer who responded today and he was trying to round up all the boys that were running around with toy & the soft air rifles.  A few girls, including mine who were at the park reported that the boys shot at them.  One of the boys there said he was hit and one of the girls said she was also hit.  I spoke to the boy and looked at the area where he was shot and it didn't look to serious.  There's always the eye thing... So I hope the cop was able to round them up and at least speak to the parents.

aggie,before you get on here with this type news, confirm it first,ya know some people take this sorta news serious, and some get a scare out of it......so in others best interest CONFIRM WHAT YOU PUT ON HERE,DONT PUT A THREAD ON HERE THIS SERIOUS, I MEAN WHAT IF KIDS WERE REALLY SHOT AND BLOODY....THATS NOT FUNNY NEWS! and i have no idea why you would put sucha post on here??? im no forum cop but i live in anna and want to read fact not fiction news, im sure alot of others would agree!

Looks like the forum police arrived.  Either that or our newbie 'aggie' decided those posts needed deleting once the truth came out.  Not good for your credibility aggie.  Although, I appreciate the link to the scanners.  That's pretty cool.

The kids were in the woods behind my house this afternoon shooting the air soft guns and driving my dog nuts. I'm just thankful they weren't shooting bb guns. I didn't know someone called the police on them. I thought the police were here for the guy who hurt his head while riding his four wheeler through the neighborhood.
