There is a crew putting lights up on the entrance sign this morning.  Maybe it is part of our maintenance package?  I know that was all renegotiated not that long ago.  It seems the electrical work on the pond is done, hopefully they get the rest done soon.  It would be nice to have it fixed in time to get refilled by the spring rains...
Thought it pretty silly to see them out there pumping the pond down last week.  Hope they actually fixed something before the rain/snow.  Otherwise, I'm going to be really ticked when they send another bill for pond repairs.

Yeah, just because they chose to pump it so slowly does not mean I should pay them more.  There will be no more special assessment money from my house if they ask for it to get the dang thing fixed.

Agreed.  Rainy season is not the best time to work on ponds ... imho.  Of course, I'm not a professional pond fixer.

I would assume that chance is a given in the professional pond fixing industry.  Of course we all know what happens when we assume.  :P

Maybe is the repairs had been done in August when it was supposed to happen things would have turned out different.

From what I understand they had no say in when the work got done.  It took longer to get the electrical done than was expected, and that had to be done before the actual pond could be fixed.  I just hope that when it is fixed, it is fixed...

I guess I need to retract some of that last statement.  Based on this data (http://web2.airmail.net/danb1/climate.htm#Dallas), December/January is the right time to do it.  Of course, there may be conflicting data somewhere.

What are the dues for Oak Hollow?  Did you guys get your notices?

We are deciding weather to rent or buy in Anna and need to add up the numbers.

In the past Oak Hollows were $180, I am not sure if they have had an increase though.

HTH

Anybody in The Falls notice that the pond company is out there and NOT pumping.  They were there are 7 this morning, and at 1 they still aren't pumping.  I can't help but think they are out there scratching their heads wondering how the heck the pond refilled...

I saw them.  They were sitting in their trucks at 7:30 not doing anything.  I think they were waiting for the sun to come out and evaporate all the water.
