Caravan

Everyone was standing outside waving as we drove off; choked me up quite a bit.  I've been more homesick for Anna than anywhere I've ever lived.

Me too.  I cried in the car all the way to Memphis and I am NOT a crier.  Damn Anna!

The wife and I cried all the way to Sherman. Tears of joy. Sorry, Anna. You weren't our cup of tea, or we weren't yours.

Yeah but....Sherman?  Don't even get me started on how backwards that sounds.

Unless Sherman really is your cup of tea.  Or you're theirs.

At my age, I like a slower pace. No traffic. Everything is 5 minutes away. Folks are nice.

I hated having to drive to McKinney for just about everything, then getting stuck in the construction.

Maybe it was our Oak Hollow neighborhood that did it in for us. It really sucked. The most unfriendly people I've met (or not since they refused to talk to me) since I lived in Boston.

Glad you made it to KS safely. Heard it's just as hot or hotter than TX.

That means you should not have moved.....shouldn't have to be homesick....just means you need to turn around and come back!

How sweet!  And yes, I've considered the psychology surrounding this bout.  I think that sometimes,  a person has to do what I've done in order to discover the truth about a situation.  Before I left I had no idea I felt about Anna how I do, so there's that.  Also - and as difficult as this sometimes is, I would never let something like homsickeness prevent me from an adventure!  ITS WHAT I DO!

So yeah, mixed emotions.

Honestly, I feel because I have this - the Anna Texas Community Forum - which is my primary communication source with 90% of you - I kinda feel as if I never left!  Especially since I'm 100% WFH and turning into a basement troll somewhat :/
